12,  There are a number of digital readouts on the rear of the telescope to provide time and position information.  The black box is a camera with a large eyepiece in the middle of the photographic frame.
12,  The 1000 ton dome is rotated with two pairs of rubber drive wheels.  This photo shows two of the four drive wheels powered by 5 horsepower motors.  There are large springs that keep the wheels in contact with the rim of the dome.  Just above the drive wheels are the electrical slip rings for applying power and control to the dome.
