Pleiades Star Cluster: This is a popular open star cluster located near the constellation Taurus the Bull. Take with a 200mm f/2.8 zoom and cropped to 50% of the field. Exposure 3 sec. at ISO 12,800 on tripod (no clock drive), four images stacked and processed. There is a little bit of star trailing in this image because a 3 second exposure is a little long for a “non-driven” 200mm lens. The Earth’s rotation causes the star trails.
